An East Providence woman is facing a charge in Massachusetts. Police in Seekonk responded to a daycare on Tuesday and found a 17-month-old child with nose injuries. The woman is accused of dropping the child onto an aluminum cot, causing the injuries. She's charged with assault and battery on a child with injury and is no longer employed at the Briarwood Child Academy.
