(North Providence, RI) -- An investigation into a North Providence police officer's accusations of sexual harassment and discrimination is over. The results of the 74-page report released yesterday found that the claims by Lieutenant Diana Perez are unfounded. Mayor Lombardi called for the investigation after Perez filed a lawsuit accusing the acting police chief and the mayor of creating a hostile work environment. Perez's attorney Alberto Aponte Cardona says they will continue their battle with the town in court.
