(Providence, RI) -- Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire at an abandoned house. The fire was reported around two p.m. at 29 Arch Street. Firefighters battled the blaze as they dealt with strong winds and freezing temperatures. One firefighter was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Fire officials say homeless people have used the structure for shelter.
