(Providence, RI) -- Five people are recovering from injuries after two related crashes in Providence. Authorities say the crashes happened around 2:30 yesterday afternoon on Route 146 northbound where emergency personnel found two crashes one where a car sideswiped another and burst into flames. The second crash happened when a car was rear-ended when it slowed down to look at the first crash. All five people were taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
