(Providence, RI) -- Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza says the federal government and cities need to speak the same language when it comes to sanctuary cities. Elorza met yesterday in Washington with Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly to start a dialogue on the President's executive order regarding illegal immigrants. Elorza says no one in the federal government is offering a legal definition of sanctuary city. Elorza says he's in favor of getting violent criminals off the street and wants to work with the administration.
