(Providence, RI) -- A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect as some areas of Rhode Island are to get a mix of wet snow and sleet later today and tomorrow. Any snow will be mostly on grassy surfaces and cars in the areas north and west of Providence. The rest of the state will experience heavy rain tonight and into tomorrow morning. Heavy downpours could cause localized flooding.
