(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island officials are agreeing to settle a legal battle over the long delayed Division of Motor Vehicles computer system. The 5.5 million dollar deal brings the total cost of the project to 20 million dollars with a July 5th launch date intact. As part of the settlement Hewlett-Packard successor DXC technology will expand the scope of its work from the last contract to include training and technical support for four months after the launch.
