(Pawtucket, RI) -- Plans for the new home of the Pawtucket Red Sox are calling for an area that could be used year-round. The owners of the team released new design concepts for the ballpark which would be located on the site of the old Apex Department store. The vision calls for the ballpark to be a multi-purpose venue for events such as concerts, hockey and offering the warning track for walking or jogging when there isn't a game. The team did not indicate who would pay for the stadium or how much it would cost.
