WHY THE FIRST 100 DAYS IS A BOGUS YARDSTICK

President Trump's administration hits its 100th day this weekend. THE FIRST 100 DAYS has been the measuring stick for every new administration since FDR signed 76 bills into law as part of the NEW DEAL when he was first elected. That was a far different time for this nation suffering through the GREAT DEPRESSION. President Trump has poo-pooed this measuring tool and with good reason. The president has met push back from liberal democrats seemingly at every turn and trying to get ANYTHING done during his first 100-days is the equivalent of running knee deep in molasses. To his credit, Trump has shown great resolve thus far swimming against a tsunami of resistance. Looking back at his first 100-days in office, Trump told Reuters that the job is more work than he expected saying "I loved his previous life. I had so many things going. This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier." Does that sound like someone whose frustrated? Someone who is about to throw in the towel? To some, perhaps...but remember this is a guy who is used to winning and something tells me eventually, he will.
