(Newport, RI) -- Newport is going to study the possibility of installing water bottle filling stations. Supporters say the goal is to encourage people to carry reusable water bottles to reduce litter. The Newport "Daily News" reports the city council has approved letting a committee or the Energy and Environment Commission consider a water-fill program and report its findings by October 1st.
