(Providence, RI) -- Providence Police are investigating a crash that sent a car into a building and forced an evacuation after a gas line broke. The crash happened around 9 p.m. yesterday at 25 Cambridge Street when the driver of the car mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brake. Residents were allowed back into their homes about 30 minutes after the crash.
