(Providence, RI) -- Bridge repairs on I-195 in Providence are to begin today after a one-day delay. The state Department of Transportation says the delay was necessary to fabricate and complete signage to guide drivers through the work zone. The work requires a divided highway configuration in both directions of I-195 between the I-95 interchange and the Gano Street exits.
