(Providence, RI) -- As long as indicted Providence City Council President Luis Aponte holds the position it appears most of council is unwilling to work with him. Twelve members failed to show up for yesterday's meeting. That left only Aponte and Ward Nine Councilwoman Carmen Castillo in attendance. Council is expected to call a special meeting next week to deal with the situation.
