(Coventry, RI) -- A 23-year old man is fighting for his life after the car he was driving struck a tree. Police say the crash happened around 4:15 a.m. Saturday on Blackrock Road in Coventry. The driver whose identity has not been released is being treated for life-threatening injuries at Rhode Island Hospital.
