(Pawtucket, RI) -- Pawtucket Police are investigating an accident that sent an 11-year old pedestrian and the driver of a car to the hospital. The accident happened around 3 p.m. on Newport Avenue when the boy was struck while crossing the street. The car continued across the street and crashed through the front of a business. The boy was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital and is in stable condition. The driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where she's in stable condition.
