(Warwick, RI) -- A lack of funding in Warwick's budget could mean a reduced lifeguard staff at the city's beaches. For the remainder of the month lifeguards will be on duty only on weekends. Starting July 1st through early September there will be lifeguards on duty weekends and holidays. The mayor hopes that city council will approve beach fees that will be used to fund increased staffing.
