(Warwick, RI) -- Two pit bulls are dead after being shot by police. Warwick Police say a man was walking his dog on Titus Road around 6 p.m. yesterday when two pit pulls escaped from a fenced yard and attacked him. Officers who responded shot both dogs. The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and his dog was taken an animal hospital.
