(East Providence, RI) -- The Gordon School in East Providence is investigating claims of sexual assault involving several students and a teacher in the 1970s. The school has brought the claims to law enforcement. East Providence Police say they have started a preliminary investigation and that they have received calls from several former students after a letter was sent out by the school on Friday. The teacher at the center of the investigation left the school in 1976.
