(Providence, RI) -- The proposed nine-point-two-billion dollar state budget is moving forward after the state House of Representatives approved the spending plan last night. Democrats say the budget is a balanced plan that reduces taxes and protects social services. Republicans say it doesn't go far enough. The Senate Finance Committee meets to vote on the House-approved plan on Tuesday.
