(Providence, RI) -- The Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence is planning to hold a capital campaign to raise 50 million dollars. The campaign to be launched in January comes as the diocese prepares to mark its 150th anniversary. The money raised will be used to care for elderly priests, seminary education, schools, social services and church preservation.
