(Providence, RI) -- A plan to borrow 45-million dollars for infrastructure improvements in Providence is moving forward. The City Council Finance Committee approved the plan yesterday and is sending it to the full council for consideration next week. About half of the money will be spent on street paving and sidewalk repairs.
