(Woonsocket, RI) -- A Woonsocket woman is facing multiple charges after leading police on a car chase. Police say the incident started around 3 p.m. Tuesday on Elm Street when a SUV driven by Michael Lee suddenly stopped in front of a police officer. Lee was taken into custody after he was seen hitting his girlfriend Regina Morris. Morris then jumped into the driver's seat and sped away, but was eventually arrested after ramming a police cruiser during a pursuit. No one was injured.
