(Providence, RI) -- The owner of the truck that's too heavy for Interstate-95 is facing a big fine. The $57,000 fine was issued to Bay Crane Northeast of Smithfield. The truck was hauling a generator weighing more than 560,000 pounds. That's seven times the legal weight limit for state roadways. The company had applied for a permit, but the truck left for its destination while the application was under review.
