(Providence, RI) -- National Grid customers can expect a shock when they receive their bills in October. The utility is seeking a rate hike that could see an increase of 53% per kilowatt hour. The average customer's bill would go from around$89 to more than $106 a month. If the rate increase is approved it would be the first since January 2015.
