Bills To Fight Opioid Crisis Now Law

(Providence, RI)  --  Penalties for the possession, manufacturing and selling fentanyl in Rhode Island are stricter.  Governor Raimondo signed five bills into law yesterday that look to curb the opioid crisis.  Anyone possessing more than a kilogram of fentanyl could spend up to life in prison and a million dollar fine.  Another law requires reimbursement from insurance companies for non-opioid chiropractic treatments for pain.
