(Providence, RI) -- An ambulance is back in the hands of its owner after it was stolen from Butler Hospital in Providence. Police say a man with mental health issues hopped in the ambulance and drove away with lights and sirens activated around 3:30 yesterday afternoon. The ambulance was recovered minutes later at Wayland and President Avenues and the man was taken into custody. The vehicle's owner, Professional Ambulance, declined to press charges because of the man's condition.
