SPORTS FIGURES SHOULDN'T BE YOUR KID'S ROLE MODELS

Awhile back, Tom Brady's bride, Giselle Bundchen, told CBS THIS MORNING that her hubby suffered a concussion last season and has suffered multiple concussions over the year. Whoops. This became an issue with reporters pushing for a response from Brady during training camp. His response was basically "that's my business." This generated outrage from critics claiming Brady "owes" the public answers, especially kids who look to him as a role model. First off, Brady doesn't owe anyone anything. What, 5 Super Bowl rings and the greatest comeback in sports history isn't enough? Secondly, professional sports figures SHOULDN'T be your child's role model. YOU should be your child's role model. Professional sports stars, including T-B 12,  don't live in the real world. Many years back, NBA Hall of Famer, the Round Mound of the Rebound, Charles Barkley said "Im not a role model. Just because I dunk a basketball doesn't mean I should raise your kids. That's your job."
