(Worcester, MA) -- Worcester City Council is moving forward with negotiations to lure the PawSox to Massachusetts. City council approved a resolution allowing the city manager to begin the negotiations after about 10,000 PawSox fans signed postcards showing support for the move. Meantime, the Rhode Island state Senate will hold hearings on whether to approve an eighty-three million dollar stadium for downtown Pawtucket. If the bill is approved, the team Pawtucket and the state will share in funding the new ballpark.
