(Westerly, RI) -- Three people are safe after being reported missing near Westerly Town Beach. Authorities say rip tides from Hurricane Gert pulled the three pulled out to sea, but they were rescued yesterday. Lifeguards had been warning swimmers to go into the water only up to their waists. Authorities caution swimmers to stay in designated areas where a lifeguard is on duty.
