(East Providence, RI) -- East Providence Police are looking for the SUV that struck a pedestrian. The accident happened around 8 p.m. yesterday in the 200 block of Newport Avenue. Witnesses told police they saw a red SUV drive away from the scene after the woman was struck. The woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
