I DIDN'T REALIZE THERE'S WAS A HURRICANE DRESS CODE

President Trump and his wife Melania both got some criticism on social media for what they wore as they headed to Texas for their Hurricane Harvey visit. Trump was accused of trying to use the attention to sell merchandise because he was wearing a hat with "USA" on the front that's sold on his campaign website. Trump was also wearing one of the "USA" hats in photos released on two days over the weekend of him getting briefed on Harvey while at Camp David. Meanwhile, the first lady was criticized for wearing five-inch stilettos as she and her husband set off on the trip yesterday. When the Trumps got off the plane in Corpus Christi, Melania had changed into sneakers, but she drew a new round of online attacks for also emerging with a hat on that said "FLOTUS," short for "first lady of the United States," on the front. This is the stuff people are concerned with on social media as tens of thousands of Texans suffer through the catastrophe, many of them losing everything. What you SHOULD be using social media for is helping these victims out by rallying your Facebook FRIENDS to join the relief effort.
