Plan For Kennedy Plaza Includes Fewer Buses, More Park Space

(Providence, RI)  --  A number of bus stops around Providence's Kennedy Plaza would be moved to other downtown locations under Mayor Elorza's plan.  The nearly five million dollar plan would also connect the skating rink and Burnside Park, moving vehicular traffic to streets around the park.  The plan hinges on the construction of the proposed intermodal transportation center near the State House and the Providence train station.
