(Providence, RI) -- Teachers in Providence schools are working without a contract. The collective bargaining agreement between the school district and teachers expired last week. Mayor Elorza says the agreement is being worked on and a new contract is on the way, which includes a new position at middle schools. A school culture coordinator will be hired to help excite students about learning.
