DANCING COP PULLED FROM PARADE

The "Dancing Cop", Tony LePore, won't be part of the annual South Kingstown Fire Fighters Relief Association parade on September 24th for the first time in five years. Back in 2015, LePore became a bit of a controversial figure when he led a boycott of a downtown Providence Dunkin' Donuts where an employee handed a cop a cup of joe with the words "Black Lives Matter" written on it. LePore told the Pro-Jo he "stuck up for a police officer. That's it." Some characterize LePore as holding racist and white supremacist views because of the incident of more than two years ago.
