(Providence, RI) -- The next time you pay for parking, you could also be helping the homeless. Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza yesterday highlighted a new parking meter that collects donations for non-profits focused on the homeless. The orange-colored meter is near city hall in front of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. It's one of ten meters in the city collecting donations starting at two-dollars and 50-cents.
