CAN THE "BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE" HOLD THEIR TONGUES?

If you want to do your part to help out the victims of Hurricanes Irma and Harvey, you’ll have your chance when the “Hand in Hand” telethon airs tonight. The hour-long benefit will be airing live from Los Angeles, New York City, and Nashville.

Al Pacino, Justin Timberlake, and Leonardo DiCaprio are just a few of the big names that have been added to the list of celebrities that are coming together to raise money for people displaced by the recent big storms. They’ll join folks like Drake, Beyoncé, Jamie Foxx, Sofia Vergara, and Billy Crystal who’ll be manning the phones, taking donations, and performing.

Since Verizon is underwriting the whole event, a hundred percent of the money will go to the hurricane victims. And Dell will match the first $10 million dollars, and Apple is donating $5 million bucks.

You’ll be able to see it live on 17 networks, including the big four networks – CBS, NBC, ABC, and Fox – and MTV, BET, Bravo, Oxygen, and HBO. It’ll also stream on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube starting at 8pm tonight.

The problem here is most of these BIG NAMES have BIG MOUTHS. Remember when that cerebral assassin Kanye West said George Bush didn't care about black people during the Katrina telethon? Hopefully it'll all be about helping the hurricane victims and not a Trump Thump...but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
