(Providence, RI) -- The National Weather Service is issuing a Tropical Storm Warning for coastal Rhode Island counties as Hurricane Jose makes its way up the East Coast. Heavy rain is expected tonight into tomorrow along with winds up to 60 miles-per-hour. Waves are expected to be up to 18 feet tonight and tomorrow across Block Island and Rhode Island Sounds. Rip currents will be a problem and people are being told to stay out of the water.
