URI Works To Go Smoke-Free

(South Kingstown, RI)  --  The University of Rhode Island is working to become smoke-free.  The American Cancer Society and the CVS Health Foundation presented the university with a $20,000 grant to develop new policies to make the campus smoke-free.  Cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, and all smokeless tobacco products will be banned from being used on campus.  The cancer society will provide resources to support smoking cessation.
