(Providence, RI) -- Groundbreaking of the Wexford Science and Technology Innovation campus will take place today. The project is to be built on a portion of the old Interstate-195 in Providence. The first phase of the project will include two buildings housing Brown University's School of Professional Studies and the Cambridge Innovation Center. A 170-room Starwood Brand Aloft Hotel will also be built.
