Governor Signs Law To Release 38 Studios Documents

(Providence, RI)  --  Governor Raimondo's signing of a bill into law requiring the release of documents from the 38 Studios investigation still has another hurdle to clear.  Attorney General Peter Kilmartin has opposed the release of the documents citing grand jury secrecy and a judge has issued a temporary restraining order blocking the implementation of the just signed law.  Kilmartin is seeking to keep sealed correspondence between his office and state police detectives.  Raimondo plans to file a formal objection to the judge's order.
