(Woonsocket, RI) -- The Woonsocket Animal Shelter is temporarily closed after a high level of mold was found in the facility. The building on Cumberland Hill Road has been vacated with animals moved to shelters in Smithfield and Lincoln. Even though the shelter is closed, the animal control officers are still responding to calls and working from the police department.
