(Providence, RI) -- Retired nurses from Saint Joseph's and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital are not happy about the possibility of reduced pensions. They picketed the offices of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence yesterday blaming the church for the pension plan being placed in temporary receivership. The plan announced months ago that it was underfunded and would have to be reduced by 40%. Such a move would affect more than 2,700 retirees.
