(Burrillville, RI) -- Burrillville officials are not happy about a decision suppressing opposition from cities and towns around the state to a proposed power plant. The Energy Facility Siting Board approved the request from the Invenergy which wants to build the plant in Burrillville. The EFSB ruled that only Burrillville's opposition resolution will be considered in making its decision. Those opposed to the power plant's construction cite the environmental impact to the community.
