Pawtucket City Council Approves PawSox Resolution

(Pawtucket, RI)  --  Pawtucket is moving forward with a plan to build a new PawSox stadium after city council approved a resolution of support for the city to issue fifteen million dollars in bonds.  The action is necessary as a request for the city to get approval from state legislators for issuing the bonds.  The House Finance Committee meets today, while the Senate Finance Committee meets Thursday at Bryant University in Smithfield.
