(Providence, RI) -- Providence is seeking to have the license of a new nightclub pulled after numerous complaints of noise and women wearing almost nothing dancing on poles. Authorities say the Penthouse Club on South Water Street has been in violation of its license at least four times since it was issued September 27th. At yesterday's hearing with the Board of Licenses, the city solicitor said that a 2013 ordinance bans nudity at places that serve alcohol. Bars that opened before then are grandfathered.
