(Providence, RI) -- A new Providence nightclub already under scrutiny for multiple violations is facing a show cause hearing tomorrow. The Penthouse Club was closed for 72 hours by the city's Board of Licenses after five shots were fired near the club around 2 a.m. Saturday. About a half dozen police officers were assisting with crowd control at the South Water Street club when shots were fired nearby. Tomorrow's hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m.
