(Pawtucket, RI) -- Two people are facing multiple charges after a homeless woman says they held her captive in an apartment for a month. Pawtucket Police say Rafael Freitas and Joylinn Gelpi are charged with kidnapping and involuntary servitude. The woman told police that Gelpi invited her to stay with the couple after they met at a mental health and addiction treatment center. Police say the woman was assaulted and deprived of water and use of bathroom facilities.
