Councilman Upset Over Firefighter Overtime Costs

(Providence, RI)  --  The amount of money being paid for overtime to Providence's firefighters is going up.  The city paid more than 12-million dollars last year and City Councilman John Igliozzi claims it's due to Mayor Elorza's revamping of the department's shifts two years ago.  Elorza at the time said there would be a five-million dollar savings.  Igliozzi says a number of firefighters have left the department and those slots haven't been filled, creating the problem.
