A well-preserved copy of the comic book that introduced The Man of Steel to the world will go up for bids next month.
The Profiles in History auction house in Calabasas, California will sell a copy of "Action Comics Number One" at an auction event scheduled to be held December 19th in Los Angeles. The June 1938 issue featured the debut of Superman and is expected to sell for as much as a million dollars.
The comic book is in original condition, which is unheard of. No wonder there’ll be a biffing war!
Next year marks the 80th anniversary of the debut of Superman, who is among the superheroes featured in the new Warner Brothers movie "Justice League."
