Ann Curry is a supporter of the #MeToo movement, but she's also practical. The news anchor points out that this behavior is limited to a small group of men and she thinks the good guys should be joining the fight against harassment and discrimination.
"The vast majority of men I've worked with have been exemplary," Curry explains. "It's the abnormal, the smaller group of men that is defining. And, I think men should be upset that they have been defined in this manner."
She goes on to talk about the importance of looking at the issues behind the #MeToo movement, which she says are not just a bunch of individual incidents, but one that connects all women, and men too. "This is a re-start of the women's liberation movement," Curry adds. "Because unless we break the glass ceiling, this harassment will not end. Because it's about changing the fundamental culture."
